In this page the site managerial issues are descibed with reference to the personal data treatment of those who visit the site.
This information is provided according to (Italian Government) Art. 13 of the Decree n° 196/2003 – Code concerning protection of personal data – to those who make use of the web Sevice of this site for the protection of their personal data, accessible via the Internet starting from Internet address http://www.mpronline.it.
This information is given concerning this site only and not for other websites possibly visited by the User through the links.
This information is also based on the Recommendation n° 2/2001, which the authorities of the EU for the protection of personal data (joined together in the Group instituted by Art. 29 of the Directive n°95/46/CE) have adopted on May 17th 2001 to single out some basic requirements for on-line collection of personal data: in particular, ways, times and nature of the information must be provided to Users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purposes of the connection, by those in charge of the personal data treatment.

Place and personal data treatment
Data treatment connected to the web service of this site takes place at the above-mentioned address of the company in charge of the treatment and personal data are only treated by its technicians or by people in charge of occasional maintainance operations.
No data deriving from the web service is to be disclosed or made public.
Personal data provided by the Users who forward requests for information (bullettins, CDs, newsletter, annual reports, answers to questions, documents and provisions) are only used in order to carry out the service or the performance requested and will only be disclosed to third parties in case it is necessary to fulfill this purpose (delivery service of the publications of the Guarantor, published by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for information and publishing).

Navigation data
The informatic systems and software procedures devoted to the functioning of this website collect, in the course of their everyday performance, some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated to identified targeted Users, but they could allow this, because of their own nature, through elabrations and associations with data withheld by third parties.
In this category of data the following are included: IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used to connect to the site; the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources; the time of the request; the method used in interrogating the server; the dimension of the file obtained in response; the number code indicating the state of the server response (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters of the operative system and the informatic environment of the User.
These data are used to the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistic information on the site use and to control its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after the elaboration. The data could be used to assess responsibilities in case of alleged crimes against the site: except from this last possibility, currently the data on the web contacts are not withheld for more than 7 days.
Data voluntarily provided by the User
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses specified in this site involves the acquisition of the sender's address as it is necessary to answer to any request for information or of other personal data specified in the request sent by the User.
Specific synthetic notice will progressively be reported or displayed in the web pages devoted to particular on-demand services.
Cookies
No User's personal data is deliberately collected by this site.
No cookies for personal information transmission are used, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind used, i.e. systems for the tracking of Users.
The use of so-called session cookies (that are not kept permanently in the User's computer and disappear by switching the browser off) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (made of numbers generated random by the server), which are necessary to allow a safe and efficient navigation of the site.
The so-called session cookies used in this site avoid the need for further informatic techniques, which can be potentially dangerous for the privacy during the Users' navigation and do not allow the collection of the User's personal data.
Optionality of data communication
Apart from what already specified for the navigation data, the User is free to disclose his/her personal data as displayed in the interface for the request of information or indicated in the contacts section to ask for the sending of information or other communcations.
If these are not specified, it may be impossible to obtain what the User requested.
For more complete information, it has to be born in mind that in some cases (not object of the ordinary management of this site) the Authority may request news and information according to (Italian Government) Art. 157 of the Decree n°196/2003 in order to keep personal data treatment under control. In these cases, an answer is compulsory not to incur in administrative sanctions.
How personal data is treated
Personal data are treated with automatic tools only over the necessary period of time to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected.
Specific measures are abided by to prevent data loss, illegal or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
RIGHTS OF THOSE CONCERNED
At any time, the subjects to which personal data refer have the right to receive confirmation of the existence of those data and to know their contents and origin, to check on their correctness or to request their supplement or updating or their rectification (Italian Government, Art. 7 of the Decree n° 196/2003).
According to the same Article there is a right to ask for deletion, transformation in anonymous form or blocking of the treated data in case of violation of the law, and to oppose, at all events and for justified reasons, their treatment.
The requests must be forwarded to who is in charge of the treatment.
